BUNBURY ” CUENTAS PENDIENTES ” It is another twist for Bunbury, as it radically moves away from his previous album ‘Greta Garbo‘ (2023) and even further from previous, more contemporary albums with certain electronic nuances, such as ‘Curso de Levitación Intensivo’ (2020), ‘Posible’ (2020), ‘Expectativas’ (2017) and ‘Palosanto’ (2013). This new album takes a look back at folklore and traditional rhythms in our common language. With the Spanish guitar, piano, double bass and percussion as the absolute protagonists of the sound and production.

BUNBURY ” CUENTAS PENDIENTES ” , “Para llegar hasta aquí” (To Get Here) opens the new album, a journey from the Mediterranean to Latin America, with Portuguese guitar and accordion. A round trip, feeding off each other. Recorded in the Desierto de los Leones, Mexico, the recording featured Chilean maestro Sebastián Aracena playing all the guitars and string instruments, Mexicans Luri Molina on double bass and Johnny Molina on percussion. The Santos Inocentes also featured members Jorge “Rebe” Rebenaque on piano, accordion, and keyboards, and Ramón Gacías on drums.
