CREEDENCE CLEARWATER REVIVAL ” BAYOU COUNTRY ” , for the first time Creedence’s second studio album, ‘Bayou Country’.
Edition on 140g orange opaque vinyl (Tangerine) remastered and pressed with new lacquers through Craft / Concord.
The seven songs (six composed by John Fogerty and a version of ‘Good Golly, Miss Molly’ made popular by Little Richard).
They were recorded in the RCA studios in Los Angeles in October 1968.
Under production by Fogerty and published in January ’69.
Thanks to the success of the single ‘Proud Mary’, ‘Bayou Country’ – the first of three albums that Creedence Clearwater Revival released that year – reached No. 7 on the Billboard 200 and was certified gold in 1970 and double platinum in 1990.
