According to the members, the album helped Incubus go from a small experiment to a full-fledged way of life for the band. So, in many ways, it makes perfect sense for them to take this historic experience as a starting point as they embark on a new chapter in their career.
At the same time, it was a way to find new inspiration and excitement in what has been the soundtrack of their lives as touring musicians for the past 20 years.
