PAUL MCCARTNEY ” VENUS AND MARS “, To celebrate the 50th anniversary of Venus and Mars, this edition is being released on gatefold half speed vinyl.
The editing was handled at Abbey Road Studios by Miles Showell, who used high-resolution transfers from the original 1975 tapes.
PAUL MCCARTNEY’s “VENUS AND MARS” vinyl is a faithful replica of the original British vinyl.
Includes a recreation of the original circular “Venus and Mars are alright tonight” sticker and the other “comparative sizes of sun and planets” bookmark sticker used in the original advertising campaign.
Also includes two posters featuring photographs by Aubrey Powell and Sylvia de Swaan. The iconic Hipgnosis album artwork has been carefully recreated. Limited edition.
