Neil Young – Album Official Release Series 5 (9 LP). Music style: Pop/Rock internacional. Neil Young’s music is not regulated by calendars or conventions.

Since he published his debut album in 1968, his career has always followed the path that he considered necessary to follow. All discs with new material and now the official reissues are a voyage of discovery. Sometimes it seems that there is no difference between the past, present and future, and all this music lives together.

Young announces the publication on July 14 of a new installment of his “Official Release Series”. This fifth volume contains the albums “Freedom” (1989), “Ragged Glory” (1990), “Weld” (1991) and “Arc” (1991). All records have been remastered from the best possible sources, in the case of “Ragged Glory” from the original analog tapes, and this is the first time they have been remastered for vinyl.

“Official Release Series 5” will be released in a numbered edition 9LP box set.

In 1990 Young returned to the Reprise label to publish the album “Freedom” which includes one of his great classics, “Rockin’ in the free world”.

“Ragged Glory” (1990) was recorded with Crazy Horse at Broken Arrow Ranch. This edition contains four bonus tracks; the B-sides “Interstate” and “Don’t spook the horse” and two previously unreleased versions of “Box car” and “Born to run” (12 minutes).

“Weld” (1991) is a live album recorded on the “Ragged Glory” tour, in a moment of wild creativity.

“Arc” (1991) was the live follow-up to “Weld”, a 35-minute burst of feedback, improvisation and guitar solos. Available for the first time on vinyl.
