THE BOSS, “TRACKS II: THE LOST ALBUMS<\/a>” These are seven unreleased Bruce Springsteen<\/a> albums made between 1983 and 2018.<\/p>\n

Featuring 82 previously unreleased songs, The Lost Albums completes chapters in Springsteen’s extensive career, while offering valuable insight into his life and work as an artist.<\/p>\n

“The Lost Albums were complete albums, some of them even to the point of being mixed and not released,” Springsteen said.<\/p>\n

“I’ve been listening to this music for years, both for myself and my close friends. I’m glad they finally have the chance to hear it. I hope they enjoy it.”<\/p>\n

From the lo-fi exploration of LA Garage Sessions ’83, which served as a crucial link between Nebraska and Born in the USA.<\/p>\n

Right down to the drum and synth sounds of Streets of Philadelphia Sessions, The Lost Albums offer unprecedented context to Springsteen’s 35 prolific years of songwriting and home recording.<\/p>\n

“The ability to record at home whenever I wanted allowed me to explore a wide variety of different musical directions,” Springsteen explained.<\/p>\n

Throughout the set, that sonic experimentation takes the form of film score work (for a film that was never made) on Faithless,<\/p>\n

Pedal steel country combos on Somewhere North of Nashville, richly woven frontier tales on Inyo, mid-century orchestral noir on Twilight Hours, and E Street-favorite rock on Perfect World.<\/p>\n

“The Lost Albums” comes in a limited 9-LP box set, featuring the original packaging for each previously unreleased record.<\/p>\n

It also includes a 100-page, cloth-bound hardcover book featuring exclusive archival photos.<\/p>\n
