Love Meditation Mixes is a limited edition 3 LP produced by Sean Ono Lennon,<\/p>\n
Available on 180g Pearl Arctic iridescent clear vinyl in a lilac mirror cardboard triple fold-out sleeve.<\/p>\n
The album consists of nine Meditation Mixes reinterpretations of John Lennon’s classic 1970 ballad, ‘Love’, from the album John Lennon\/Plastic Ono Band.<\/p>\n
The B-side of LP3 features nine unique 1.8-second mantras that play continuously in the end grooves of the vinyl to create infinite loops.<\/p>\n
This release follows the Meditation Mixes’ nine reinterpretations of John Lennon’s classic 1973 peace and love anthem,<\/p>\n
‘Mind Games’, on vinyl and through the photo-awareness app, Lumenate,<\/p>\n
released last year on John’s birthday, October 9th.<\/p>\n
Sean Ono Lennon states: “Following the surprising success of Mind Games’ meditation mixes and our collaboration with Lumenate,<\/p>\n
The meditation app, we are pleased to present Volume Two: a collection of environmental reinterpretations<\/p>\n
from the classic John Lennon song, to create a meditation on “love”.<\/p>\n
For Love Meditation Mixes, various sound design techniques and processes were applied to the original 1970 one-inch multitrack recordings,<\/p>\n
and in some cases they were enriched with additional instrumentation by Sean Ono Lennon, son of John Lennon and Yoko Ono Lennon.<\/p>\n
The mixing and sound engineering were handled by Sam Gannon,<\/p>\n
with additional recording by Scott Holingsworth and mastering by Alex Wharton at Abbey Road Studios.<\/p>\n
The production was handled by Simon Hilton.<\/p>\n
LaLove Meditation’s remixes create their own space while maintaining a solid and authentic foundation in John Lennon’s original recording.<\/p>\n
Each of the nine mixes has been radically modified, slowed down and extended, with a duration ranging from 5 to 23 minutes.<\/p>\n
allowing the soundtrack to envelop the listener and provide a relaxing, immersive, deep, and meditative experience.<\/p>\n
Four of the tracks are presented as binaural beat versions, each focused on different types of<\/p>\n
brain waves: Beta, Delta, Gamma and Theta.<\/p>\n
Titled “Real”, “You”, “Feeling” and “Knowing”, these tracks feature a binaural beat,<\/p>\n
an auditory illusion created in the brain when the left and right ears perceive two slightly different frequencies,<\/p>\n
whose difference is interpreted as a new frequency that can activate different brain patterns<\/p>\n
to achieve scientifically proven therapeutic effects.<\/p>\n
