Description
“From a previous century” is Bunbury’s new work, and it is undoubtedly a celebration of the passage of time, looking to the future with enthusiasm and a sense of wonder.
Recorded in the Desierto de los Leones (Mexico), it is produced by Bunbury himself along with Ramón Gacías.
They entered the studio in February 2025 with the intention of exploring the possibilities of combining Latinity with other genres, opening themselves up to the harmonic and rhythmic possibilities of its patterns and lyrics.
In August of the same year, they returned to the studio to finish mixing, and then in Los Angeles, California, Tom Baker handled the mastering. Tracks like “La Voz” and “Un brindis al sol” had already been released, and this album boasts an extraordinary repertoire of ten songs, where the musicians stand out for the richness of detail in their performance.
As Bunbury himself says, “We wanted to create something that could only exist through the sensitivity of the musicians and the vulnerability of the voice”… “That the music and its performers be the true protagonists.”
Limited Edition 180g vinyl, in a triple sleeve with silver printing, includes an exclusive poster only available in this edition.
