ELTON JOHN ” LIVE FROM THE RAINBOW THEATRE ” In May 1977, Elton took to the stage at London’s iconic Rainbow Theatre with Ray Cooper for a six-date residency.
These performances were the first concerts with only Elton and Ray performing and marked the live debut of the songs “Roy Rogers”, “Cage The Songbird”, “Idol” and “I Feel Like A Bullet (In The Gun Of Robert Ford)”.
Record Store Day 2025 marks the first official vinyl release, featuring a selection of the show’s highlights curated by Elton John, including “Sweet Painted Lady,” “Idol,” “Dan Dare,” and more.
