IRON MAIDEN “LIVE AFTER DEATH” On October 14, 2025, exactly 40 years after its original release,
Parlophone Records is pleased to announce a new limited collector’s edition of IRON MAIDEN’s classic album LIVE AFTER DEATH, on colored vinyl and with a beautiful design.
Featuring the revered original gatefold cover, the album includes two 140g colored vinyl records (one blue and one yellow) with the 2015 audio remastering.
The package also includes a replica of the 24-page World Slavery Tour program, bringing the original tour program back to life for new generations.
In addition, the vinyl includes a replica tour pass and a glossy 12-page booklet, containing the original eight-page booklet along with an exclusive, all-new essay entitled Rime And Punishment: Celebrating 40 Years Of Live After Death, in which Iron Maiden fan club editor Alexander Milas interviews Steve Harris, Nicko McBrain, Rod Smallwood and acclaimed illustrator Derek Riggs about the legendary album.
Hailed not only as the greatest live heavy metal album of all time, but as one of the most iconic live releases of any musical genre, LIVE AFTER DEATH was recorded mainly during the four nights Maiden played at the Long Beach Arena in Los Angeles in March 1985. The final side of the double album was recorded during the four nights the band played at the Hammersmith Odeon in October 1984.
