Vinyl of “As Time Explodes”, a live album by Neil Young & The Chrome Hearts featuring selections from various concerts.
The European dates included performances at the legendary Glastonbury Festival, London’s Hyde Park, and the Montreux Jazz Festival in Switzerland.
Neil Young & the Chrome Hearts are: Neil Young (guitar, bomba organ, piano and vocals), Spooner Oldham (organ and piano), Micah Nelson (guitar, strings and vocals), Corey McCormick (bass and vocals), and Anthony LoGerfo (drums and vocals). The 13-track album includes songs spanning Young’s entire career, including “Ohio” and “After the Gold Rush” from 1970 up to “Silver Eagle” from the 2025 album Talkin’ to the Trees.
The repertoire also includes Young classics such as “Harvest Moon”, “Like a Hurricane”, “Cortez the Killer” and “Vampire Blues”.
What makes this album even more special is the new song “Big Crime”, in addition to tracks that have rarely appeared on Neil Young’s recent live albums, such as “Long Walk Home”, “Daddy Went Walking”, “Be the Rain” and “Name of Love”.
