Following his 2024 soundtrack and his 2019 Christmas album, “The Christmas Present,” Robbie Williams’ new album, “Britpop,” marks his first full-length studio album in six years. The album heralds a vibrant return to British music, inspired by the golden age of the 90s. Robbie set out to create the album he truly wanted to write after leaving Take That in 1995. Back then, pop stars didn’t have much creative freedom, but “Britpop” is the sound of the 90s Robbie as he wanted to sound, shaped by the decades of experience he has accumulated since.
The lead single “Rocket”, full of high-octane rock, features legendary Black Sabbath guitarist Tony Iommi.
