Description
“Foreign Tongues,” the incredibly vibrant new 14-track album from The Rolling Stones, arrives less than three years after *Hackney Diamonds*—the band’s latest, universally acclaimed, Grammy-winning album, which topped charts worldwide and achieved multi-platinum sales.
Preceded by the single “In The Stars,” *Foreign Tongues* came to life in less than a month at Metropolis Studios in London, with Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, and Ronnie Wood reuniting with Grammy-winning producer Andrew Watt. The result is a dynamic, forward-looking album that captures the band’s unmistakable sound while venturing into new sonic and lyrical territory, further cementing their unparalleled legacy.
On “Foreign Tongues,” Jagger, Richards, and Wood are joined by their longtime collaborators Darryl Jones, Matt Clifford, and Steve Jordan. The album also features a special appearance by Charlie Watts, recorded during one of his final sessions before his passing in 2021. Contributions from an impressive lineup of guest artists—including Steve Winwood, Paul McCartney, Robert Smith (The Cure), and Chad Smith (Red Hot Chili Peppers)—are also included. “Foreign Tongues” will be available in multiple formats.
