The Rolling Stones announce the release of “Grrrr Live!”, their definitive live “Best Of” album. The album contains the band’s greatest hits from their 60-year career, remixed and re-edited. It was recorded live in Newark, New Jersey, during their “50th Anniversary Tour.” They celebrated their 50th anniversary between 2012 and 2013 with the “50 & Counting Tour,” which included 30 concerts in North America and Europe.
On December 15, 2012, The Rolling Stones took to the stage at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey, for their final shows in the New York area. They were joined by special guests including The Black Keys, Gary Clark Jr., Lady Gaga, John Mayer, Bruce Springsteen, and Mick Taylor. It proved to be one of the most memorable concerts in their history.
The album will be available in multiple formats including: 3LP format, 2CD, DVD+2CD and Blu-Ray+2CD (the latter two include Dolby Atmos).
A total of 24 songs, including the best songs of all time: It’s Only Rock ‘n’ Roll (But I Like It), Honky Tonk Women, Start Me Up, Gimme Shelter, Sympathy For The Devil and (I Can’t Get No) Satisfaction.
